Healing In Nature – Nature Healing Artwork Inspired by the Restorative Power of the Natural World

Healing In Nature is an original nature healing artwork inspired by a deeply moving experience during a Power of 8 healing circle – a form of group intention meditation in which people come together to focus loving, healing energy towards another person. During this meditation, I experienced the vision that became Healing In Nature.

As a group, we gathered in meditation to send healing love and intention to a dear friend recovering from a fractured spine. During the meditation, I received a vivid vision that became this painting.

Rather than seeing the people gathered in meditation, I saw nature itself responding. The trees, flowers, sun, moon, clouds, rocks, rabbits and the earth all became part of the healing. It was as though the entire natural world had joined together to gently hold her while she rested.

This painting is a reminder that healing is not something we always have to do. Sometimes healing begins when we simply allow ourselves to receive.

The Story Behind the Painting

This artwork was inspired by a friend whose recovery required months of complete rest following a fractured spine.

As we gathered to support her through a Power of 8 healing meditation, the message that came through was beautifully simple.

Her only job was to rest.

To lie on the earth.

To allow nature to do what it has always done.

There was nothing to fix, nowhere to rush, no pressure to become well more quickly. Instead, there was an invitation to surrender into the healing rhythm of the natural world.

Symbolism Within the Artwork

At the centre of the painting is a young girl lying peacefully on the grass beneath the shelter of a tree.

She represents the part of each of us that longs to feel safe enough to stop striving and simply receive care.

Surrounding her, every element of nature becomes an active participant in her healing journey.

The trees offer protection.

The flowers bring hope and beauty.

The rabbits represent gentleness and renewal.

The rocks provide stability.

The grass cradles her body.

The sun and moon create balance between activity and rest.

A. The images are printed on the highest quality fine art paper, Hahnemuhle Photrag 308.

Q. Are the Limited Edition Prints sold framed or unframed?
A. All prints sold online are unframed unless otherwise specified.
I occasionally have framed prints for sale after an exhibition, and I will let you know via email when you subscribe to my mailing list.

Q. How many prints in each edition?
A. There are 50 prints available for each print.

Q. Are the Limited Editon Prints sold with mounts?
A. No, prints sold online are not mounted unless otherwise specified. If you need any advice about mounting, please ask.

Q. Is postage and packaging included in the price?
A. Yes, there is no extra cost to you as postage and packaging have been included in the price for purchase in the UK.

Q. How long do orders take?
A. Orders usually take about 2 weeks. Each print is made specifically to order, and is checked and packaged before being posted to you. If you need a print delivered more quickly, please ask and I will see what I can do.

Q. Do you accept returns?
A. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, please contact me by email within 14 days of receipt and explain why you would like to return the print(s).

You will usually be responsible for return postage costs, and the print should be returned using a suitable insured Royal Mail service. Please do not touch the surface of the print as a damaged print cannot be sold to another buyer.
